Enjoy!

What a fun event to photograph. This past Saturday night, The Meritage Resort and Spa in Napa, held their Trinitas Wine Harvest Party and Lobster Fest. The Meritage Resort is a gorgeous property for weddings and other events and is the only resort to have a tasting center in an Estate Cave, along with their amazing Spa Terra…the only luxury spa in the U.S. located in a cave. The event featured new releases of the beautiful Trinitas wines, exclusive barrel tastings, energetic live zydeco music by Tri Tip Trio and an amazing Lobster Fest by Napa Valley’s Sorensen Catering. It was pretty impressive seeing the whole process of the lobster boil and the overall presentation as the guys dumped the huge barrels filled with fresh lobster, prawns, artichokes, corn and more on to the long tables. Yum! It was a gorgeous evening in the valley and so much fun seeing everyone having such a blast at this festive occasion. Here are a few of my favorites from the event. I will post information to access the full event gallery in the next couple of weeks, so please check back. Enjoy!

I’m so lucky to have gotten to know Elena and Tom over the past few months… it has been so much fun. I remember when we first met in Berkeley and I felt such a connection to them. I was thrilled when it all came together for us to work together. We had a blast on our first attempt for an engagement session, even more fun when we actually had time for the full session and then, well…their wedding day, wow! It was a perfect Napa Valley day, not too hot, and a nice soft breeze. Not always the case for an August wine country wedding. It was so wonderful to be there witnessing Elena and Tom’s love for each other and with their family and friends, many of whom came so far to celebrate this wonderful occasion. I had tears in my eyes more than once throughout the day and am so happy to have been a part of their wedding day. Congratulations to you both, I’m so happy for you!
Gorgeous flowers, as always, by Valley Flora. A wonderful ceremony officiated by Peadar Dalton of Your Ceremony Matters. Always a joy to work with!

Two years ago I had the joy of working with Cole and Shane on their wedding day in Napa Valley. They now have a beautiful daughter, Ruby, who I will be meeting soon. I’m so grateful to have clients who become dear friends. I look forward to photographing all 3 of them this summer. Happy Anniversary to you both!

Happy 1st Anniversary to Lance and Heather! I’m actually a day late but have been thinking of last year in Napa Valley photographing their lovely wedding at Domaine Chandon. Their destination wedding with their closest friends was so quaint and beautiful! I wish you both many more years of happiness!

What a wonderful day it was on Sunday. I had the joy of photographing Debbie and Jason on their wedding day in Napa Valley at the Silverado Resort. It was so nice to finally meet them both. I first met Debbie as she was finishing up her hair and make up, by Sarah Hyde (simply stunning by the way). Debbie was so relaxed and happy, she was grinning ear to ear and that is how she was all day long. So sweet! When I went to meet Jason for the first time, as he waited for Debbie to join him for their “first glance”, he too, was grinning ear to ear. The whole day was so much fun and went so smoothly. Thanks to Kimberlie, the fabulous wedding specialist at Silverado and Rebecca, the wedding coordinator from Kristi Amoroso Designs. Rebecca was not only an amazing coordinator but also happened to be the sister of the bride. She did a fantastic job following through with every wedding detail…as well as being in the wedding party and enjoying the celebration with her family. Very impressive Rebecca!
I have many, many favorite images from this amazing day but here are a few I couldn’t wait to share. A little glimpse of their first glance and a few other favorites. Gorgeous flowers by Lidia of La Fleuriste.

You may remember a previous post from the Engagement session with Elena and Tom that got rained out several weeks ago. Well, we rescheduled our session earlier this month and it was perfect! It was a sunny day in Napa Valley and we were able to go to all the spots we missed the first time around. The Napa Valley wine country has so many amazing places to shoot. The locations along with Elena and Tom’s love and energy, resulted in some wonderful images. They are so much fun and so full of life! I’m super excited about photographing their wedding next weekend.

I had so much fun photographing Tamsin a few weeks ago, what a doll. Her Aunt Carla surprised her sister Darcy with a portrait session while they were visiting from Canada. What a special gift. Here are a couple of my favorites from our San Francisco session. Enjoy!

Cameron turned 5 years old this year. It has been wonderful to photograph him every year, with his amazing parents, Donald and Calina. We all know that Cameron runs the show when we shoot, so we decided to explore Mill Valley together and shoot along the way. This allowed us, or should I say Cameron, to roam and be free. :-) We had a blast! It is a true joy photographing my dear friends and capturing each of their Spirits, so full of Love and Light, in these images. Enjoy!

Hi everyone…I have been out of touch for a while but am so excited about being back and sharing more work with all of you. I’ve taken some “me” time over the past couple months as I’ve moved and settled in to my new home in Marin. I’m so Grateful for where I am and have enjoyed the time I’ve taken for myself but am looking so forward to reconnecting with all of my friends and colleagues and to delving back even deeper in to my love of photography! I want to share an image that I took only a few blocks from where I live. Although it doesn’t come close to doing this amazing place justice, I hope you’ll get a sense of the peace and the beauty that I’m experiencing every day.
I’ve had some fun sessions this summer with such wonderful people which I will be sharing very soon!
